Add Amplifier to Factory Radio - Retain OEM Backup Camera - Bypass OEM Amplifier - Replace Factory Radio - GM Wiring Harness
When replacing your factory radio with an aftermarket radio you will want to most likely retain your OEM backup camera. Factory backup camera retention harnesses make this very easy with a simple plug and play connector so you don't have to splice power, ground and video signal to aftermarket connectors that your new aftermarket radio can use.
Bypassing the factory amplifier is a more difficult undertaking but provides the best sound quality gain.
