Add Amplifier to Factory Radio - Bypass OEM Amplifier - Add amplifiers to factory radio - Line Output Conveters
Bypassing the factory amplifier is a more difficult undertaking but provides the best sound quality gain. When bypassing, it takes a more work because you have to run the bypass harness to the factory amplifier, which is often located in some other part of the car. Bypassing the factory amplifier will require an aftermarket amplifier or using the aftermarket radio's internal amplifier.
Line output converters make adding an amplifier to a factory radio much easier. You can convert any speaker level signal to a low level for amplification with a line output converter.
